In the Hummelsbüttel housing estate the Hamburg architectural office of Hohaus, Hinz & Seifert created a residential building with a uniquely classic modern style: cubic forms, flat roof, large-area glazing with room-high sliding elements, perfect proportions. Rooms with high ceilings, flooded with natural light, consistently open ground-plan solutions and a building technology that reflects almost everything in lighting and electrical installation technology that is state-of-the-art.
In the building itself, only the elegant Busch-ComfortPanel® and the stainless steel modules of the Busch-priOn® room control system are indicative of the quality of the building system technology installed. Nevertheless, the technical interior of the entire house represents the current state of the art. Almost all functions - from lighting control to heating and air conditioning to inconspicuously integrated sun protection - are ideally networked via a KNX bus system from Busch-Jaeger.
