History of seafaring, sea and port

25hours Hotel Hafencity, Hamburg

The 25hours Hotel, which is located at the Hamburg Harbour City, was built by the investment group Groß & Partner, ING Real Estate and SNS Property Finance. The hotel has over 170 cozy berths and additional areas for relaxation which tell stories about seafaring, oceans and harbours. The mare Gallery can accommodate up to 150 persons, and an original ocean container offers room for captain's meetings for up to 20 persons. Sailors can find relaxation in the harbour sauna and the harbour restaurant HEIMAT with its warehouse and harbour atmosphere cares for the physical needs.

The 25hours Hotel is located at the Hamburg Harbour City. In addition to the Speicherstadt, the district also includes another landmark of the city: the concert hall Elbphillharmonie.

The interior design of the hotel is influenced by its surroundings: Hamburg´s harbour. The hotel picks up the character and diversity of the Hanseatic city in every detail and tells numerous stories of seafaring and the harbour.

Involved in the script and the interior design of the theme hotel were Stephen Williams Associates - Markus Stoll - Eventlabs and Conni Kotte (all from Hamburg), and in the architecture, Böge Lindner 2K Architekten. The design is completed by the future® linear light switch range in matt black - and to ensure that everything in the themed hotel is perfectly staged, the lighting control works with ABB i-bus® KNX.
