Smart ambience above the roofs of Frankfurt

Penthouse, Frankfurt

This wideness, this size, this brightness - this penthouse maisonette offers free space. And not too little. On 250 square meters above the roofs of Frankfurt with a direct view of the Main, you can live it up. The apartment building was built in 2002. In 2013, planning began for the modernization by renowned architect Herbert O. Zielinski.

The result is in no way reminiscent of the original very small floor plan. An impressive room height of 3.70 meters, frameless pivot doors with floor-to-ceiling passages - when the swinging doors are open, the entire length of the apartment can be experienced. In addition, the almost ceiling-high window fronts ensure light-flooded rooms.

After modernization, the maisonette penthouse apartment is on the latest smart home standard and impresses with its architectural spaciousness.

Comfort and simplicity were the wish

The starting point was the customer's wish to control the underfloor heating as simply as possible. Mohamed Mosfer then recommended the installation of Busch-free@home®. The operation of the system is easy and intuitive. Without much effort, users can also add their own individual time programs to control heating and blinds, and set effective lighting scenes. And there is a central switch at the front door that can be used to switch off all light sources in the house at the touch of a finger. In every room, a room temperature controller with setpoint display ensures maximum energy efficiency and an optimal climate. A presence simulation with time-dependent actuation controls lights and blinds. Movement detectors and a weather station are just as easily integrated into the overall scenario.

The future® linear light switch range ensures a uniform look across all light switches, socket outlets and room temperature controllers. The design range future® linear convinces with its simple design and can therefore be ideally embedded in any contemporary architectural concept. The complete penthouse can be controlled with the particularly compact Busch-free@homePanel 4.3" as a flush-mounted version with an installation height of only eight millimeters. With it particularly comfortably up to 16 functions of the Busch-free@home® system can be controlled. The control is carried out with tapping and wiping gestures via the capacitive glass surface. Visually, the panel fits perfectly into the ambience thanks to its high design quality with a white frame.

However, the residents also like to use the remote access via the myBUSCH-JAEGER portal. The connection of the Busch-free@home® app to the portal makes the whole system even more convenient. Because the home control can be operated via tablet or smartphone not only in the home WLAN, but also while on the road. This makes it possible to quickly check whether all the lights are switched off, for example, or to set the heating to a comfortable temperature remotely.
