The alarm stick is simply connected to the USB port of the System Access Point. With a few simple steps, you can expand your system to include comprehensive functions for security in your home.

Networking your warning detectors
The Busch-free@home® alarm stick enables you to network the smoke alarm, CO and heat detectors in your system. In addition to the corresponding radio modules, only the Busch-free@home® alarm stick is required.

Extensive alarm functions
If one of the warning detectors goes off, a scene or automation can be triggered in addition to the warning signals. For example, the system can automatically switch on the light in the entire building to full illumination, open the blinds for better orientation or, in the event of a CO alarm, provide for the electrical opening of windows for immediate ventilation. At the same time, Busch-free@home® lights up Hue lamps in the warning colour red and push messages can be sent directly to a defined group of recipients.

The integration of an alarm stick into your Busch-free@home® system can be particularly useful if you have several floors in your home. Thanks to the networking of your warning detectors, the alarm is not only triggered in the affected room.
